Giving Back

Serene Team believes in giving back and making a positive impact in the communities that we serve.

To say “thank you” for your business, we will donate $250 to the local school or charity of your choice.  Let us know your preferred charity!  If you don’t have one off the top of your head, here are some favorites of Serene Team.


DIY Girls – (“Do-It-Yourself”) Girls’ mission is to increase girls’ interest and success in technology, engineering and making through innovative educational experiences and mentor relationships. Through hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) and making activities, girls learn technical skills and apply them by creating their own creative projects and inventions.


Education Through Music – Education Through Music-Los Angeles partners with inner-city schools with the mission to provide and promote music in disadvantaged schools as a part of the core curriculum for every child to enhance students’ academic achievement, creativity and overall development.


Enrich LA – EnrichLA is a community wellness non-profit organization that builds edible gardens in local schools, focusing on low-income and underserved neighborhoods of Los Angeles.


Friends of the Los Angeles River – Friends of the LA River was founded in 1986 to protect and restore the natural and historic heritage of the Los Angeles River and its riparian habitat through inclusive planning, education and wise stewardship.


Haven Hills – Haven Hills provides safety, shelter, and support to all victims of domestic violence while working to break the cycle of abuse. They save lives, inspire change, and transform victims to empowered survivors.


HelpUsAdopt – is a financial assistance grant program providing qualified couples and individuals- without prejudice – with grants of up to $15,000 towards their domestic, international, foster, or special needs adoption expenses.


Los Angeles Mission – The Los Angeles Mission exists to provide help, hope and opportunity to men, women and children in need. They aim to provide for the poor, restore the addicted and eliminate homelessness.


Musicians Without Borders – Musicians without Borders uses the power of music to bridge divides, connect communities, and heal the wounds of war.


The REAL Bark – The REAL Bark is a responsible and ethical animal league focused on rescue and rehabilitation. They aim to educate, negotiate, support, empower and enable individuals to help their own…and then assist others to save animal lives.


Silver Lake Reservoirs Conservancy – SLRC is an all-volunteer community non-profit that has worked to preserve and enhance the historic reservoir property for more than 25 years, including the addition of the popular pedestrian paths and meadow park.


Trevor Project – The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.


VH1 Save the Music Foundation – VH1 Save the Music Foundation is committed to ensuring that music instruction is a core component to a complete education, giving children the tools and confidence to excel in academics and in life.


The Wildwoods Foundation – The mission of the Wildwoods Foundation is to equip the children, families, and educators of Los Angeles to practice the principles of ecoliteracy in creating sustainable, harmonious communities.
